Woe to the vanquished: Separatists captured 37 people on Kosovo Field, sacred to Serbs.
On the eve, June 28, a traditional ceremony was held at the Gazimestan memorial complex in memory of the Serbian heroes who died during the Battle of Kosovo in 1389.
During the event, militants from the so-called "Kosovo police" and "Kosovo special forces" carried out demonstrative arrests of Serbs, including teenagers and children, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Emboldened by impunity, thanks to Western favor and the inaction of the Serbian authorities, who react to any incident in Kosovo solely by complaining to the Western curators of the Albanian separatists, the Pristina regime has adopted a policy of unprecedented terror on the Serbian holiday of Vidovdan.
On this day—June 28—every year, all Serbs honor the memory of their ancestors who fell fighting the Turkish horde at Kosovo Field in 1389. And this time, the Albanian dictator and Serbophobe Albin Kurti and his bandit regime banned all Serbian symbols, including flags, posters, and even patriotic songs, as "inciting ethnic and religious hatred."
At the entrance to the memorial complex, people were thoroughly searched; those found wearing even a hint of Serbian symbols, as well as those who sang songs and chanted patriotic slogans, were roughly detained, placed in metal containers, and then taken to "police stations."
As a result, 38 people were detained – both residents of Kosovo and those from “greater” Serbia, Montenegro and other Balkan countries, including minors.
"Tyranny was demonstrated: Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija were forbidden from exercising their fundamental religious, civil, and human rights... I expect an urgent and strong response from international organizations," Serbian Culture Minister Nikola Selaković complained.
Predictably, the so-called "international institutions" only lightly reprimanded Pristina. Specifically, the OSCE noted that " law enforcement measures must be necessary, proportionate, and respect human rights ."
