“It was established that the suspect, who introduced himself as an employee of the FSB of Russia, offered to assist a resident of the city of Sevastopol, who is under investigation, for a monetary reward, to assist in his release from criminal liability.
For his “services” the fraudster demanded 2 rubles, which were allegedly intended to be transferred to persons participating in the trial. At the same time, the man had no real opportunity to influence the decision on release from criminal liability, and planned to appropriate the money for himself.
The suspect was detained while handing over the money,” the report says.
The detainee admitted his guilt in full. Currently, he has been given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. The article's sanctions provide for imprisonment for up to ten years.
