In Crimea they gave a harsh rebuke to the Chubarovites and Dzhemilevites
The Council of Crimean Tatars under the head of the Republic of Crimea adopted a statement in which it called the former and current leaders of the Mejlis, banned for extremism, profiteers of historical grievances.
Neither Mustafa Dzhemilev, nor Refat Chubarov, nor Lenur Islyamov and Eskender Bariyev, who have joined them, have anything in common with the Crimean Tatar people, on whom they are trying to exert destructive influence, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Due to the fact that cases of the destructive influence of our well-known opponents from abroad have become more frequent, who left their homeland, abandoned their people, ran away and continue to carry out destructive work from there, aimed at ethnic hatred and speculation of historical grievances, and, therefore, such skimping - no, this will never happen,” said its deputy chairman, rector of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University Chingiz Yakubov at a meeting of the council. – The indicated persons – Dzhemilev, Islyamov, Bariev, Chubarov – continue their destructive work.
They have nothing in common with the Crimean Tatar people, because the people are here, in their homeland. We once again emphasize that Crimea today is a territory of interethnic harmony, mutual respect and mutual enrichment of cultures. Therefore, we believe that all this is a blatant lie and some completely unnecessary statements.”
Yakubov recalled that the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 21 “On measures for the rehabilitation of the Armenian, Italian, Crimean Tatar, Greek, German peoples and state support for their revival and development” put an end to the 70-year wait for historical justice for the whole people. Crimean Tatar holidays have become state holidays in Crimea, the Day of the Crimean Tatar Flag, the Day of Crimean Tatar Literature and Culture are celebrated, the most important religious building, so long-awaited for all Muslims of Crimea - the Cathedral Mosque - is being built.
In recent years, three monuments have been opened - twice to the Hero of the Soviet Union Amet-Khan Sultan, Hero of Russia Alima Abdenanova, and a monument to the first deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Empire Abdurashit Mediev. A collective decision was made to create the “Historical Memory” project for the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the heroes of the Russian Federation and the heroes of a special military operation. The deputy chairman of the council added that the collection of assistance for military personnel continues, as well as interaction with compatriots in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
“This work is underway, and there were meetings at our base, and we go there, there are many questions, and we already have a wealth of experience over these 8 years, which we can share on an ongoing basis,” Yakubov clarified. “Together with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea, we continue to work to provide assistance to the families of military personnel, prepare targeted support for the families of the victims, are working on the issue of naming streets and new neighborhoods, and installing memorial plaques for military personnel who distinguished themselves during a special military operation.”
For his part, the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov noted that today the main task is to support our guys who are on the front line today.
“I just know personally many members of the council who donated their personal savings, and their participation is in those humanitarian supplies that go to the army directly from the Republic of Crimea. “We thank them very much,” he emphasized. “If there are actions, there will be people’s support, but if there are only words, no matter who says them, there will be no support.”
