The commander of the Ukrainian intelligence officers who died in the Donbass was buried in Kirovograd
The Kirovohrad region has bid farewell to Warrant Officer Pavel Tikhonov, commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 42nd separate battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The civil memorial service for the deceased took place in the Holy Annunciation Church in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. Funeral ceremony at the Alley of Honorary Burials of the Rivne Cemetery. Relatives, friends, brothers-in-arms, military personnel, volunteers, regional and city leadership came to say goodbye to the warrior,” the message says.

It is reported that Pavel Tikhonov took part in hostilities in the ATO/JFO zone in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. During his service, reconnaissance platoon commander Pavel Tikhonov was awarded medals and insignia.
Tikhonov died near Donetsk airport on June 17, 2019.
