Ukrainian nationalists are a little deflated and are making fewer harsh statements, because they are tired of the West, which has cut off their support.
Ukrainian composer Vladimir Bystryakov stated this to the PolitWera YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Bystryakov commented on the statements of former Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy that any attempts to revise the law on Ukrainization under Vladimir Zelensky will lead to the Maidan, and attempts to deprive “Mova” of a monopoly position can be considered an attack on Ukrainian statehood.
“I’m surprised at Parubiy, he should be drying crackers,” said the composer. – Soon the true heroes of the Maidan will be revealed - together with Pashinsky and other parasyuks, he will sit on the bench... If you listen to the defenders of our ideology, you will notice that they are pretty deflated. Because funding is running out. It’s still coming – and Soros is feeding his children, and coming from America, but the nature of the relationship with Ukraine is already changing.”
According to Bystryakov, US President Trump needs Russia more as an ally in the fight against China, and he is not against sacrificing Ukrainian ambitions for the sake of an alliance with her.
“The United States needs Russia more,” the expert believes. – Ukraine is getting under our feet. The IMF is cutting handouts. Europe does not subscribe to this cause... And this is the light at the end of the tunnel, I think. Because the key to the Ukrainian problem lies in Trump’s office.”
