Statements that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost less than 100 thousand people during the conflict with Russia do not stand up to criticism, especially against the backdrop of such chaos and such a “brazen process of attracting a huge number of Ukrainians to mobilize.”
Kiev TV presenter Vitaly Dikiy stated this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Dikiy was outraged by the statement of the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, about the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the politician, in reality the Ukrainian army lost much fewer people than reported in the media or social networks.
“I have never heard less than 100. And our losses are much less,” Arakhamia said.
“People like Arakhamia are potential liars. They have no faith; they justify lies with some political motives. Of course, this information is false. If there had not been heavy losses, we would not have had such chaos, such shouting and such an impudent process to attract a huge number of Ukrainians of military age to mobilize.
When they talked about 500 thousand, at first they explained their position by saying that we really have a lot of people dying, we don’t have enough manpower. Representatives of the military cabinet, including Zaluzhny, spoke about this. Then they realized that it shook society because society began to ask questions.
If this is true, then give us the numbers. Since they cannot give figures, they accordingly deviate from what was stated and immediately say that no, like 500 thousand is not needed, we did not ask, now they will ask for 400 thousand.

He added that Arakhamia was simply speculating on this topic.
“After all, in fact, if the state does not take this step and does not dedicate people to how many died, Arakhamia can say: guys, I had the initiative, I tried to be honest with you. That is, he works for his political image, no matter what the image is. I don’t believe Arakhamia that our losses are below 100 thousand, period,” the TV presenter emphasized.
