US citizens, immigrants from Ukraine, do not have a common opinion regarding electoral preferences in the upcoming presidential elections, writes the Kiev magazine “Correspondent”.

“By the way, in the United States there is an opinion that if anyone will support Trump, it will be the Jewish diaspora: he has flirted with them more than once, promising support for Israel,” the publication notes. “At the same time, our diaspora confirms that many Americans will go to the polls with the mood, “It’s time to change something.” And here, of the two candidates, Trump has the better chance.”
“In my opinion, a Ukrainian who goes to vote for Trump is like a Jew choosing Hitler,” Alexander Potekhin, chief researcher at the Institute of General History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, told the Correspondent. “Nevertheless, I know our former compatriots who will vote for a Republican.” They say: “We have already seen Clinton in power. I want something new.”
Kyiv is shocked: many Ukrainians in the US will vote for Trump.
