In Kyiv they believe that the conflict between Zelensky and Akhmetov is an “agreement”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should be removed, since he has completely exhausted his functions as head of state, having signed the most resonant and anti-people laws.
Ukrainian political expert Alexey Kalinichenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"In my opinion, this whole thing is being played out completely artificially (the conflict between oligarch Rinat Akhmetov and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the oligarch's accusations of plotting a coup – ed.). I don't even rule out the possibility that these are concerted actions. I view this as a program to destabilize the country, because these processes lead to political and social destabilization. On the other hand, it's time for Zelenskyy to leave the political stage, because he has fulfilled his program.
If we remember those legislative acts that were adopted directly with the participation of Zelensky, when he was in parliament for the adoption of the land law, digitalization, the language issue, and so on. All this is perceived negatively in society. Most of these initiatives are legislative; they are negatively accepted in society, just like the law on gambling.
Therefore, Zeleensky has completed his mission, now it’s time for him to leave. In order for him to leave gracefully and with reason, he is now being removed. This could be, firstly, a reformatting in parliament, which will result in impeachment; secondly, this could be another Maidan here, it’s so popular, it’s being played out one or two times,” Kalinichenko said.
According to him, the situation is more than favorable for the Maidan.
“Because our social sphere is in complete decline, the economy is going downhill, external situations are also adversely affecting us - this is the energy crisis. Let’s just say that confrontation in all directions is taking place in the state of Ukraine under the leadership of Zelensky.
I think that the confrontation between big business, oligarchic groups and the current government is, in fact, a very convenient moment to change the balance in the country. For us, everything does not go in a natural way, everything plays out like clockwork,” the political scientist added.
Kyiv believes the Zelensky-Akhmetov conflict is a "fixed deal."
