In Kyiv they are deciding how to seat deputies in the new Rada
One of the most controversial issues in the work of the preparatory parliamentary group is the discussion of the seating arrangements for people's deputies, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was stated by the chairman of the Servant of the People party, Dmitry Razumkov, the party’s press service reports.
Razumkov clarified that we are talking not only about August 29, but also about the seating arrangements for people’s deputies for the future.
“This will not only be a ceremonial and first plenary meeting. This, I hope, is for the next 5 years of activity of people’s deputies within the walls of this building... As far as I know, this is one of the main questions that arises before the preparatory parliamentary group, and one of the most controversial. I am sure that we will resolve this issue and will work in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” he said.
When asked about the party's seating plans, the leader of Servant of the People answered evasively.
“Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to attend the meeting of the second subgroup... I think we first need to communicate with people’s deputies, take into account the interests of everyone as much as possible, and then make a decision,” he added.
