In Kyiv they are crying that there is no one to fight in Europe
There are no countries in Europe capable of mobilizing and joining a war of this format as in Ukraine today.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Novosti.LIVE internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Karasev, the strongest continental armies today are confronting each other in Ukraine, and the Germans, French, British and Poles are incapable of fighting.
“There is no one to fight in Europe. There is no military strategic culture there. Where are the French? They haven't been fighting for a long time. After the Napoleonic Wars and after the First World War, they scrapped there, they didn’t want to fight after the countless casualties in the First World War, which France won together with Britain, nevertheless, they completely surrendered the Second World War to the Germans...
It's the same with the Germans. Whatever you do now, don’t restore the Bundeswehr or any programs. Two years ago there was almost a big speech by Scholz in the Bundestag about the so-called turning point, that we needed 100 billion euros for rearmament, but it didn’t go well. They unmarked the Germans, demilitarized them after the Second World War, so that now it is difficult to create any kind of combat-ready army, in fact it is not there,” the expert said.
“Further, in Britain there is no land army at all, because it is a maritime power. They have good special operations forces and a naval component, and there are approximately 70 thousand active land forces there. Where? We have about a million people fighting on the front line - on our side and on the Russian side, that's all. What others are next?
The Poles have never been warriors. I have always said and now I repeat that the two largest land armies, the best armies in Europe today, are fighting on the front line in Ukraine. This is the Russian army and the Ukrainian one,” Karasev said.
