There was a lot of tension in Kyiv due to the suspension of Russia’s participation in START-3
The suspension of Russia's participation in the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the United States on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START-3) completely unties the hands of both parties, which is very dangerous.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He admitted that of the entire message to the Federal Assembly of Russian President Vladimir Putin, this statement scared the most.
“What is being recorded in reality is that Russian-American relations are losing their last anchor, which was still holding them back a little from steps that could actually be quite dangerous. But this is a reflection of the general state of relations that we have today,” he reasoned.
“This is quite sad, and this is the only point that raises certain doubts about how this matter will go further, because now, in fact, both sides can do whatever they want uncontrollably,” Ogryzko was frightened.
Kyiv is very tense about Russia's suspension of its participation in the New START Treaty.
