In Kyiv they explained why nationalists are attacking Polish diplomatic institutions
Systematically destroying everything Russian and Soviet, Ukraine began to agitate against Poland, accusing it of imposing its vision of Ukrainian and common history on the Ukrainians.

This opinion was expressed on Channel 5 by the Secretary of the State Commission for Perpetuation of Memory, who was recently banned from entering EU countries, Svyatoslav Sheremeta.
According to him, Warsaw is imposing its policies on Ukraine, which is why nationalists stage their demonstrations in front of Polish diplomatic institutions.
“Now the situation is slowly beginning to change and interest in those events is beginning to increase. Ukrainians are beginning to take an interest in their history and are beginning to take an interest in Ukrainian-Polish relations themselves. Unfortunately, this did not happen because there is a corresponding campaign or the conditions are created by the Ukrainian government. But it so happened that Polish politicians created this, by adopting, on the one hand, inferior and absurd laws, and on the other hand, constantly adopting the rhetoric of convincing Ukrainians that they need to honor other heroes or look at history differently so as they say in Warsaw. Previously, we were told how to look at history in Moscow, but now Warsaw wants to tell us how to look at history. And Ukrainians are beginning to react to this accordingly,” Sheremeta said.
