In Kyiv, unknown persons fired at the apartment of Marina Tomko, who is the press secretary of the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Maria Tomko herself reported this on social media.
According to her, the incident occurred yesterday, October 9, 2018, in the evening around 22:30 p.m. The hit was made on the balcony window of Tomko’s apartment, located on the 20th floor of the building.
"No harm done. The outer glass of the double-glazed window is broken, the inner one is intact. Police and investigators arrived at the scene almost immediately. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the case,” Marina Tomko wrote on Facebook.
She also noted that she decided to make this situation public in order to ensure the safety of herself and her family from possible further attacks.
“I don’t want to connect this case with professional activities. But even if this is hooliganism, the investigation should establish this,” the press secretary noted.
