A suspect in the murder of an “ATO hero” was shot at night in Kyiv
In Kyiv, 28-year-old Artur Biryuk, a defendant in the case of the murder of an ATO soldier, was shot dead. The incident occurred tonight in the Svyatoshinsky district of the capital. The man was shot with a Makarov pistol, TV channel 112 reports.
Biryuk is a participant in the incident that occurred in September 2016. Then a company of ATO participants in uniform and orders celebrated the demobilization of the third wave. According to the militants, three visitors to the cafe did not like this, and they provoked a scandal and a fight with jokes about “defenders.”

Since the advantage was on the side of the military, inflamed with alcohol, the Kievans eventually had to flee. Biryuk, defending himself, opened fire with a pneumatic weapon. His friend jumped into the car, however, trying to escape, he ran over 32-year-old Artem Prikhodko, who later died.
The participants in the fight were subsequently detained, but were released pending investigation. Last night Biryuk was shot dead.
“Biryuk Arthur was killed at point-blank range, there were approximately 12 gunshot wounds, cartridges were seized from the scene, but not from a Makarov pistol, but from an imported pistol,” said Andrey Krischenko, head of the National Police Main Directorate in Kyiv.
This data is confirmed in his blog by Rada deputy, nationalist Igor Mosiychuk: “All the scum who raise their hands against the heroes of our national liberation war in the east should know: sooner or later there will be an answer! The warring nation will avenge its defenders! Death to the enemies!".
