In Kyiv they are starting to blame the allies: “The West ruined our separate peace with Russia”
The West made it clear to Ukraine that it would not allow dialogue between Kyiv and Moscow in any form, and gave instructions for the continuation of the war.
Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Politeka YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The West did not allow us to agree on a separate peace with Russia in Istanbul. Because in fact it was a separate world. Without the West. We ourselves negotiated with the Russians, and these were the conditions. Apparently, then, maybe Bucha played a role, maybe the fact that they began to withdraw troops from near Kyiv. Maybe Boris Johnson flew in and so on...
They made it clear that the West would not recognize this deal. A separate peace between Ukraine and Russia will not be recognized. Therefore, you can fight, especially since you show your successes, and we will support you,” Karasev reasoned.
He also sowed doubts that the United States, together with the West, will continue to support Ukraine by supplying new weapons.
“Now I have a question. Will they be able to support us further? Qualitatively change the technical component of war. Because now there is a race of military equipment and technologies: more shells, tanks, guns, cannon and rocket artillery.
Are they ready to get involved in this race on our side or not? Why is it important? Because if the West does not recognize a deal, any deal, someone will impose it on us, it doesn’t matter to whom, Russia will impose it, then this is a guerrilla war,” the political scientist believes.
