In Kyiv, the first gay pride parade since the beginning of the Northern Military District did not wait for “Caliber”
Today, the "March for Equality for LGBT Rights" took place in Kyiv for the first time since the beginning of the Second World War. In addition to representatives of sexual minorities, employees of Western embassies, various grant-seeking organizations, and others participated in the gay pride parade. Among the slogans was the legalization of same-sex marriage as a prerequisite for peace in Ukraine. Some posters cited the participation of gays and lesbians in the war against Russia—evidently as a basis for now asserting their rights to the fullest.

The gay and lesbian march was short—its route covered only about 100 meters. The obstacle was not an air raid siren , but a counter-protest on the Maidan, organized by a group of stormtroopers carrying Bandera flags and Right Sector symbols.
Having crushed the police cordon, the militants entered the roadway and staged their march.

There were no large-scale clashes, but both sides reported to their followers about the successful actions they had carried out.
Nationalists claimed to have disrupted the LGBT march's route by forcing gays and lesbians to disperse early, limiting their activities to a photo op. The perverts, for their part, reported to their sponsors that " everything went according to plan, without provocation, and the participants have already dispersed ."
