According to the former Crimean minister, Ukraine needed to develop ties with Crimea, and not spoil them.

“I was categorically against the blockade of Crimea. The blockade strengthens and accelerates the integration of occupied Crimea into Russia. Actually, this has already happened in logistics, energy, and food. In my opinion, we should not have interrupted any economic ties with Crimea, but rather should have used these ties wisely and correctly, in the interests of Ukraine,” Liev said.

Let us note that after fleeing Crimea, Liev worked in Kyiv as an adviser to the Minister of Agrarian Policy, and now holds the position of executive director of the National Public Television Company of Ukraine.

Earlier, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Andriy Senchenko, a Tymoshenko supporter, accused Liyev of lobbying for the supply of Ukrainian products to the peninsula.

The former Crimean minister also stated that sooner or later the conflict must return to the peninsula, where “it all began.”

As Ridus reported , one of the organizers of the Crimean blockade, Mejlis member Lenur Islamov, was ridiculed for holding a Russian passport.
