Straight ban on supplies of energy resources and petroleum products to Ukraine from the Russian Federation in fact, it turned out to be an internal Russian transfer of powers to issue special export permits, presented in a beautiful wrapper of “sanctions”.
Valentin Zemlyansky, director of energy programs at the Center for World Economy and International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, confidently stated this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.tv”, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is a resolution with three appendices. The third appendix deals with our problem: oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied gas and coal. But we are talking about changing the regime for issuing special permits for supplies to Ukraine - that’s all. There is not a word “prohibit” there.
Any company conducting foreign trade operations receives permits. There is a subject - the state, which issues these permits. Before this, these were Russian customs officers. This was passed on from the customs officers to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
