In the Croatian canton of BiH, Serbian children are denied the right to study in their native language
Serb MP in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation (Bosniak-Croat) BiH Goran Broceta called it a show of force that Serbian children in Glamoč cannot study the Serbian language and national subjects this school year.

“The Serbian language, that is, a national group of subjects for Serbian children in Glamoč, has not been introduced,” Brocheta said. – For many years we did not have understanding from the Croatian majority. Although we have tried countless times to raise this topic, both in inter-party negotiations and in the Assembly of the Livensky canton itself.”
The deputy noted that the current Prime Minister of the government of the canton of Livno, Ivan Vukadin, did not fulfill his election promise to respect all the peoples of the province. During the ten months of work of the new government, it became clear that the only task of the Prime Minister and the current convocation is to encourage and help private interests as much as possible.
During the upcoming session of the cantonal Assembly, Broceta promised to again ask the question of the relevant minister and ask him to answer in writing why Serbian children in Glamoč, where the predominantly Serbian population lives, do not have the right to be taught in their native language, and why subjects on Serbian culture are not included in the curriculum and history.
The Serbian and Croatian languages have minor but fundamental differences, which relate to the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, as well as some pronunciation features, but, in principle, if we put aside the politicization of this issue, Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks and Montenegrins speak the same language.
