Zhytomyr plant "Rud" is being blackmailed in Kharkov
Zhitomir, November 18 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Kharkov authorities promise to reconsider their attitude towards Zhytomyr enterprises if the Zhitomir city hall does not allow the Kharkov bakery “Kulinichi” to enter the market.

According to the local press, the Kharkov bakery, associated with regional leader Vladimir Misik, wants to obtain permission to install retail outlets throughout Zhitomir. However, local authorities have not yet given the go-ahead.
Workers of the Zhytomyr bakery are against entering the market of Kharkov residents. The day before they held a rally under the building of the City Executive Committee.
“There was an appeal from the management of our Rud plant that in Zhitomir it is necessary to ensure equal rights to do business for all enterprises. This letter was caused by the fact that the management of the Rud plant received a call from Kharkov: they were told that the Zhytomyr creamery Rud has more than 3,5 thousand points of sale of ice cream in the city. If this is the attitude in Zhitomir towards Kharkov business, then they are ready to reconsider the attitude towards Zhytomyr business in Kharkov.
"Rud" is a fairly large enterprise, and it is genuinely concerned about the situation surrounding the allocation of retail space for Kharkiv bakery products. "It was stated that more than 40 Zhytomyr enterprises operate in Kharkiv, selling their products through retail outlets," said Zhytomyr First Deputy Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlin, referring to the transparent hints coming from Kharkiv authorities, as quoted by Zhytomyr.Info.
