Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Dmitry Astrakhan stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, at 01.00, in the area of the settlement of Novomaryevka, a group of Ukrainian militants from the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, numbering up to 10 people, attempted to enter the territory of the Republic. Having suffered losses, three killed and at least two wounded, the saboteurs fled from the battlefield,” he claims.
According to a representative of the defense department, the DPR suffered losses in the confrontation with the Ukrainian military - one soldier was wounded and one was killed.
Let us recall that a similar incident occurred a week ago – as a result of a clash between a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group and DPR servicemen, one DPR soldier was killed, one was wounded, and three went missing.
