Two important settlements were liberated in the DPR
Today in the DPR, Russian troops liberated two strategically important settlements near Donetsk and Gorlovka.
This was reported by the tg channel of military correspondent Semyon Pegov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The village near Gorlovka was liberated. Mayorsk, the battle for which lasted for several months. Over the course of 8 years, Ukrainian nationalists turned the settlement’s buildings into a continuous fortified area, in which deep concrete command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were located. Mayorsk is an important bridgehead that can serve as a support point for an attack on Dzerzhinsk, renamed Toretsk by the Maidan authorities.

The liberation troops also took the settlement of Opytnoye, located between Avdiivka and Donetsk airport. Before the war, almost 800 people lived here; the Ukronazis turned the settlement into a powerful defensive line. It is reported that “the soldiers of the Sparta ORB were the first to enter the settlement, then the 1st Slavic Brigade lined up on the flanks - thus, units of the Donetsk Army Corps, with the support of artillerymen of the 238th brigade, took Opytnoye under full control, having won an important fire position from the enemy frontier."

The footage shows the commander of the 2nd company of “Sparta” with the call sign “Vesely”, who, together with his soldiers in the first three, entered the populated area.
