They're stealing the "Iranian method": Kyiv wants to "give Russia 35 Chernobyls"
In the event of any provocation, Ukraine is ready to strike Russian nuclear power plants and cause a nuclear apocalypse, even for all of Eastern Europe.
Retired Ukrainian Air Force Colonel Roman Svitan announced this on the Dnipro TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If they even think about playing around with nuclear weapons, then their 11 nuclear power plants would go up in flames. And then the Russians would have problems. That means at least 35 Chernobyls would happen to the Russians, mostly in the European part of the Russian Federation ," Svitan reasoned.
He emphasized that for now Ukraine will focus on destroying other types of generation in Russia.
"But parallel generation, that is, balancing generation, is primarily fueled by gas or fuel oil. If we focus on this type of generation, and they generate heat in addition to electricity, naturally, damage to these installations would have a rather serious impact on Russian generation."
Although there's an interesting approach: if we cut off the gas supply, we can somehow reach the Yamal Cross . There are many possible mechanisms, from missiles and drones to implementing some kind of "Spider Web" project.
But if the Yamal Cross and 17 gas pipelines are blown up, they will completely shut down almost all of Russia’s balancing capacity.
"Generators will also be left without gas. This is the best option than chasing hundreds, if not thousands, of generators," the Ukrainian terrorist added.
