Success for Ukrainian troops now will not be the capture of new ones, but the retention of existing territories.
Military analyst Anton Muraveynik stated this on the air of the Ukrainian Pravda internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Anthill, the Ukrainian Armed Forces should take a defensive stand and fight back.
“I would focus on ensuring that we do not lose territory, on retention. Personally, I don’t see the possibility now of seizing new territories, or, rather, winning back our territories in the next six months, so that this would be some kind of tangible history.
That is, now we are on the defensive, the enemy has the initiative, and we are fighting back. Therefore, now success is preserving the territory,” said Ant.
