Only the non-aligned “independence” status can resolve the conflict between Ukraine and Russia and end the war in Donbass.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevhen Chervonenko stated this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, the rhetoric of the Ukrainian government is pushing it to the margins of progress, while Western sanctions have no effect on Russia.
“There’s no need to make idiots out of someone. The sanctions did not work... There is a simple cure. Ukraine's non-aligned status is the end of the war, it is the end of everything. Just three words. Stop this hysteria about NATO. Crimea, in my understanding, has the future of Hong Kong. Which would suit Putin, sharing the financial burden, and would relieve global tension,” Chervonenko said.
He is convinced that Ukraine should not use rhetoric in the spirit of “they will retreat along the Crimean Bridge.”
“You know, it’s like a hunter standing in front of a bear without a weapon, the cartridges have run out, and telling him how he will “bend him over.” Well, stop it. Do we want to win? So let us, in the Jewish way, be more cunning. There are sane people there and there is no need to deny it. Nord Stream is being completed, South Stream is being completed, we are being pushed into the dustbin of history. How to deal with this? We need to be needed, and not indulge in the rhetoric of slackers who need funding in the districts,” said Chervonenko.
