Ukrainian children are given questionnaires to assess the level of patriotism of their parents
The Ministry of Education and Science has obliged teaching staff to communicate with citizens and each other exclusively in Ukrainian.

This was reported by the Kiev publication Vesti, citing the relevant order of the department, which was sent to all regions of Ukraine.
The document states that during working hours, teachers and staff of educational institutions must use only the Ukrainian language.
An exception is made only in those universities, secondary educational institutions and schools where instruction is taught in languages of national minorities. In addition to the Ukrainian language, they may also use the language of national minorities. However, in Ukraine there are only a few such schools. For example, in Kyiv there are only three Russian schools.
“Tellingly, this order appeared literally a couple of days after the Ministry of Education obliged all employees of the department to speak exclusively in Ukrainian,” the publication notes.
As “Strana” writes, locally the recommendations of the Ministry of Education on strengthening the patriotic component were taken literally.
“For example, in preschool institutions in Sumy, children were given questionnaires in which parents were asked to assess their level of competence in matters of patriotic education, explain what the expression “being a patriot” means and note where the child receives the “basics of patriotism” - in kindergartens or in a circle family,” the publication says.
“In our group, this questionnaire outraged all the parents. We don’t understand why we have to answer these questions and who and how then uses our answers,” the publication quotes Sumy resident Maria.
