Ukrainian drone hit Russian plant
As a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone, a fire started at the Korenevsky low-voltage equipment plant.
Acting Governor of Kursk Oblast Alexey Smirnov reported this, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tonight, a Ukrainian copter dropped an explosive device on the territory of the low-voltage equipment plant in Korenevo. None of the workers were injured. The fire in one of the technological shops is being extinguished by fire crews from two districts,” the head of the region wrote in his public page.
In turn, the Baza tg channel, which specializes in incidents, claims that the area of the fire is about 400 square meters, and the workers at the enterprise were evacuated even before the firefighters arrived.
The plant in Korenevo produces low-voltage and high-voltage distribution and control equipment, protection devices. The company's products are used at industrial and energy facilities, including nuclear power plants.
