70 trucks delivered cargoes compiled at the request of the relevant ministries of the DPR to Donetsk warehouses. The contents of the convoy consisted of two parts: construction materials and food. The products were unloaded in Makeyevka, and the building materials in Donetsk.
The arrival of the column was expected early in the morning, but the weather made adjustments to its movement. According to drivers, there were difficult weather conditions throughout the entire route – from the Rostov region to Donetsk.
This humanitarian convoy is distinguished from others by the fact that during the passage of border and customs control, Ukrainian customs officers and border guards participated in the registration of the convoy. This time they took part in the inspection of trucks: they inspected every car. Despite this, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that among the delivered goods there were goods that, according to Ukrainian laws, cannot be considered humanitarian, and called Russian humanitarian aid to Donbass a violation of the UN Charter. However, what kind of goods these are and what their characteristics are, the Kyiv authorities did not specify.
