Ukrainian media are luring fresh “cannon fodder” to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian command sent media workers to Donbass to raise the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, Ukrainian security forces are massively refusing to go to the JFO area.
“In order to raise the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Chief of the General Staff Khomchak approved a plan for the work of Ukrainian media in military units and subunits performing tasks in the Joint Forces Operation zone. So, at the moment, journalists work in units of the 54th brigade,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
The representative of the defense department did not rule out further provocations on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the work of the film crews, for the subsequent accusation of units of the People's Militia of the LPR of violating the Minsk agreements.
"The recent unsuccessful attempt by a sabotage group from the 54th Brigade to penetrate LPR territory, which resulted in the death of a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, as well as the almost daily incidents resulting in non-combat losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian army, have negatively impacted the mood of servicemen stationed in the JFO zone," he added.
