“A training video has been published online, showing annexed Crimea among the territories of Russia. The Kids Learning Tube channel on which the video is posted is allegedly administered from the United States. The video, posted on a children's educational channel, talks about the geography of Russia in a playful way in English. Various subjects of the federation are represented in song form. Crimea in the video is presented as one of 22 republics that has the right to its own language and constitution within the Russian Federation among Altai, Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Ingushetia and others,” reports the Kiev Internet portal “Apostrophe”.
It is noteworthy that even the project of the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty called “Crimea. Realities,” illustrating the news about the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline, showed Crimea as a territory of Russia, which caused indignation in Ukrainian social networks, recalls “Apostrophe.”
Earlier, the Ukrainian TV channel Inter showed a concert dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day, where the Crimean Peninsula was missing from the map of the country shown in the background of the stage.
