Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities are filled by a third - 31,11%, according to data from the Association of European Operators of Underground Gas Storage.
At the same time, after a relatively warm first half, Ukraine faces the second half of winter, which is characterized by low air temperatures. During such periods, gas withdrawal from underground gas storage facilities increases sharply, which can lead to disruptions in supplies to consumers as reserves are depleted.
