Ukrainian experts claim that the South-East is turning into Galicia
Only a few percent of Ukrainian citizens do not support the “reintegration” of Donbass into Ukraine..
Political expert Oleg Sahakyan, who serves the interests of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on air on the Internet channel “Ukrlife TV”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The sociological survey sounded like this: “What do you think about the approach according to which the reintegration of uncontrolled territories should be gradual and should not lead to new conflicts in Ukrainian society?” Five percent of respondents said they were somewhat unsupportive, and three percent did not support it at all. Apparently, these people do not support any integration of Donbass at all,” Sahakyan said.
Moreover, against the backdrop of such indicators, only seven percent of Ukrainians are ready to support a full amnesty for participants in the war in Donbass, in which both the East of Ukraine and Galicia agree. This was stated by expert of the Ukrainian Independent Center for Political Research Yulia Tishchenko.
“There is a certain consensus, East and West of Ukraine on the so-called complete amnesty - an amnesty for everyone, despite what they did. In the East and West, only seven percent of our fellow citizens support this. The numbers are almost identical in the West and in the East. This is an unpopular measure,” Tishchenko concluded.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that all efforts must be focused on domestic problems, while at the moment there is nothing in Donbas that Ukraine needs , especially for the population.
