Ukrainian land will fall into the hands of oligarchs, bypassing peasants - ex-Rada deputy
All landowners and foreign funds will wait until 2024, when, according to the land law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, the ban on the sale of state and communal lands will be lifted.
Former field commander of the Orange Maidan and ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Taras Stetskiv said this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What, in fact, does the voting of this land law in the Ukrainian parliament mean: in reality, the solution to the land issue in Ukraine has simply been postponed until 2024, that’s all.
Why do I think so: since there is a ban on the sale of state and communal lands until 2024, all latifundists and foreign funds will simply wait for the lifting of this ban.
Since during this period of time the purchase and sale of land is allowed only between individuals up to 100 hectares, and in reality there are no lending mechanisms or money from farmers, my conclusion is very simple: trade between individuals will be very sluggish.
That is, large volumes of land will not be traded. All the major players who, in fact, conceived this law will wait until 2024,” Stetskiv said.
