Ukrainian diplomacy is praying that Zelensky will meet with Biden before Putin
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky can “intercept” US President Joe Biden at the GLOBSEC forum in Slovakia and personally communicate with him before Russian President Vladimir Putin does.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States (2015-2019) Oleksandr Chaly stated this in an interview with the Pryamyi TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We should try to take the initiative so that the meeting of our president takes place earlier than the conversation between the Russian president and the US president. That would be helpful. And this happened before, when they first talked with Ukraine, coordinated positions, and then talked with Russia. I hope this would be the best case scenario.
This can be achieved if President Biden goes to a forum in Slovakia. It is obvious that Ukraine will be a participant in this forum. I can’t imagine anything else - we used to be a participant in this GLOBSEC forum. And there you can plan this meeting. That is, we are not talking about a meeting in Ukraine, but about a meeting in an EU country. I would really work on this now and advise you to work hard to make this happen,” Chaly said.
