Ukraine forced Prague airport to abandon the Russian language
At Prague Airport, they refused to announce flights departing to Ukraine in Russian - instead they will now use English and Czech.
This was reported by the Kiev TV channel STB, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They abandoned Russian. From now on, Prague airport will not announce flights to Ukraine in the language of the aggressor. Czech and English will be spoken,” the journalist said.
This decision was made as a result of numerous requests from Kyiv diplomats in the Czech Republic to the airport management. The Prague company refused for a long time, arguing that the Russian language is needed by passengers flying in transit through Ukraine.
However, Ukrainian diplomats achieved their goal and forced the management of the Prague airport to abandon the use of the Russian language.
“That is, they did listen to Ukraine,” the Kyiv television crews happily summed up.
