Ukraine has entered the slippery slope of attempting to blackmail Putin
Kyiv’s intention to include one of the leaders of the Opposition for Life, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, on the list for exchange with the Russian Federation is a repetition of the methods used by the regime of Petro Poroshenko.
This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent and written by Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“The amazing know-how from Kyiv, when it exchanges some of its citizens for others, was not invented today. It was during the administration of Petro Poroshenko that Kyiv traditionally engaged in similar actions: before the exchange of prisoners with the LDPR, the Ukrainian special services recruited more of their own fellow citizens so that they would have someone to form an “exchange fund” from. The story with Medvedchuk is exactly the same. Just the level of people employed in this combination is already off the charts,” the article notes.
“Moreover, in Kyiv, it seems, they seriously hope that if Medvedchuk has some kind of human relationship with Putin, then, having entered the slippery path of such blackmail, they have pulled out a trump card. There is no point in dissuading them of this; they themselves must be convinced that no one has ever been able to force Putin to do anything,” the newspaper emphasizes.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, recently stated that he would "gladly" include Medvedchuk and his party comrades in the exchange lists.
