Ukraine captured a Russian citizen, accusing him of blowing up a car with SBU officers

Ukraine arrested a Russian citizen in Kramatorsk, occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, accusing him of recently blowing up a car with SBU officers. Military correspondent Marina Kharkova reports this on her blog.

“As you know, on June 27, at about 19 p.m., near the city of Konstantinovka (part of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic occupied by Ukrainian troops), a car with four employees of the Security Service of the former Ukraine was blown up by a mine.

As a result of the explosion, SBU Colonel Yuriy Vozny was killed, and three other SBU officers were injured of varying degrees of severity. The SBU immediately blamed the Russian special services for the incident. But several days have passed since the arrival, and the SBU has not been able to provide any concrete evidence of this.

However, on July 1, at about 16 p.m., in the city of Kramatorsk (also part of the territory of the DPR occupied by the Ukrainian army), a citizen of the Russian Federation was arrested by the local branch of the SBU. On presentation of a Russian civil passport, he crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border and came to Kramatorsk quite legally to visit his relatives. He only managed to stay with his relatives for three days when he was immediately arrested.
