Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal's dire prediction that Ukraine will be unable to pay pensions in 15 years proves that selfishness, cruelty, and economic decline have become commonplace in the country.

The head of the Sofia strategic group, Andrey Ermolaev, announced this on the YouTube channel UkrLife.TV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The terrifying forecast of Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal that in 15 years Ukraine will not be able to pay pensions...

“Please note that over the past 30 years, selfishness and cruelty have become a shamefully unrecognized norm. We are completely calm about chronic losses, and have generally come to terms with decline.

Why did I pay attention to Shmygal’s words? It’s not the accuracy of the forecast that we are going through an economic crisis, that we have problems with the labor force, this is an open secret. But we were talking about a forecast for 15 years not from a scientific expert, but from the Prime Minister, for whom, unlike the expert, 15 years is a huge chance. In old language, these are three five-year plans. Some countries have soared to heights in 15 years.

It turns out that in the heads of our managers there is a completely different reality. In the language of an expert forecast, they warn society: “Guys, get ready – in 15 years it will be even worse.” And then I have a question - this means that the internal structure of his ideas, beliefs and calculations is laid out in such a way that for him, as an expert, this is also an obvious disaster. There is no alternative in his head.

Let the scientists mutter that we are going in the wrong direction. And the task of any politician is to lead to victories, and not to warn about who will jump over this abyss and how many we will miss. That's what horrified me - how these people's heads are structured.
These are not anti-crisis managers - these are managers who know how to deftly use crises, users of crises,” said Ermolaev.

He emphasized that Ukraine no longer has any hope, and the next year will be extremely difficult for this country.

“Frankly speaking, I have less and less reason and desire to reflect publicly, because I cannot cling to anything that in my eyes would look like hope. It seems that, among other things, some kind of suicidal syndrome also prevails in Ukraine - as if we have not yet proven to each other that we are at the bottom. I want to prove, with some kind of ineradicable passion to assert myself in the face of new troubles.

To sum it up, the next year will probably be extremely difficult for us in this regard,” the expert concluded.
