Ukraine under the yoke of the dragon
Young man, are you interested in how we feel in such a European and free Odessa, not to mention the whole of Ukraine? And I will answer you: like our William Shakespeare has in his bosom!

Remember, he called the whole world a theater, and the people in it - actors. And yet he was right. Ukraine has turned into a terrible stage for the next production of “Dragon” by Evgeniy Schwartz. Productions where, at the whim of the director, the scenes of the atrocity of the old and vile lizard last for years, and the valiant knight-liberator Lancelot still cannot cut off the monster’s head. And in general, government propaganda inspires the citizens of the country that the dragon is our benefactor and protector. They say that he saved us from the criminal Panda, who robbed and oppressed, and even tried to prevent us from entering the coveted Europe that was waiting for us with open arms. And now, it protects from... no, not gypsies, like Schwartz. From the good half of us, who have the audacity to speak our own language, pray in churches of the faith of our fathers and grandfathers, and simply claim our own, and not an imposed, alien image and ancestral traditions. And in general – those who do not honor the dragon covenants of Petliura and Bandera.
Some have rebelled and are fighting for the right to be themselves, not wanting to live on their knees and bow before the vile serpent. Others are forced to endure the yoke of the dragon and his offspring, who imagine themselves to be the masters of everything - both the remnants of their former prosperity and the lives of civilians. The dubious “wisdom” of Shvartsev’s cowardly townsfolk is being hammered into our heads: no, giants, the only way to defeat a dragon is to have your own! A kind of introduction of Stockholm syndrome into the souls on the scale of an entire country. A syndrome imposed by violence on physical and psychological admiration, and even love for enslavers and bloodsuckers...
And this dragon, which dominates Ukraine, has three heads.
One, the most insidious and powerful. He sits far beyond the sea-ocean, and controls another that has captured Kyiv. The mother of Russian cities, who became a stepmother for her country. And this head robs us with impunity and cruelty, and kills those who are disobedient, or even those who simply turn up at hand. The teeth of the third head - and the army, lawlessly fighting against part of its own yesterday’s fellow citizens, and all sorts of gangs of “patriots”. Terrorizing not only dissidents declared “separatists,” but also simply civilians who have the misfortune of still owning something and demanding something, out of the old memory of the times when the law sometimes still worked and protected, and not only served, those in power.
And woe to those who dared to somehow resist this. At the hands of “activists,” those who dared to raise their voice for the truth, like Oles Buzina, are vilely killed. Honest journalists, like our comrade Vasily Muravitsky, are thrown into prison on deliberately false charges. And often, random people who have retained basic human dignity become victims of the third head of the dragon, its teeth, which have turned insane and devoid of everything human.
Of course, you have already heard about how last Saturday in Kyiv, at a minibus stop, an “ATO veteran” in broad daylight stabbed to death a man who dared to reprimand him. Of course, the “defender”, who tried to push through the line and get onto the bus, was rebuffed. And having bought a kitchen knife from a nearby store, he meanly, like a jackal, drove it into the back of 35-year-old Ruslan Yurchenko. Former chef of the Odessa restaurant "Cooper". Father of two children. A kind and fair person. An athlete who practiced martial arts and, if desired, had every opportunity to kill the insolent person on the spot.

The killer, junior lieutenant of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade Dmitry Balabukha, was detained by the police and did not deny it. But, my God, what a howl arose on social networks! His colleagues write about him as “the quietest and sweetest person.” They say, what should have been said to him so that he would kill a man in a calculated and vile manner! And this is no wonder, because accustomed to complete impunity and the unspoken right to kill, rape and loot, they imagine themselves as “superman”, before whom everyone must prostrate. And words like “we didn’t send you there” are offensive to them. True, it stings my eyes. Moreover, the killer is a contract soldier, that is, one who deliberately chose the role of professional killer of his fellow citizens. And the fact that he, like many of his brothers in arms stained with brotherly blood, having found himself in the rear, behaved as he was accustomed to in the “ATO zone” is not uncommon in today’s Ukraine. After all, even military prosecutor Matios cried out - where is the psychological rehabilitation service for “veterans”?! And thus, he involuntarily confirmed the words of the former military psychiatrist of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleg Druz, who said six months ago: 93% of “ATO veterans” pose a threat to society and are subject to treatment after participating in hostilities.

Professional psychologists and psychotherapists who worked with this public are horrified: even normal young guys who find themselves in the hell of the civil war return from there with dire consequences for the psyche. And what can we say about those who, like Balabukha, deliberately chose the destiny of punitive forces? Were they originally socially adapted members of society? Or did they find a way out for their initially dark inclinations and brutal instincts in fratricide and violence against civilians?! Moreover, we are not talking about mental illness, but about sociopathy and xenophobia innate and brought up by propaganda, which is inevitably realized not only at the front, but also in the rear.
In one of the suburban villages near Odessa they tell such a sad story. A young guy lived there. He was a drug addict and did not give life to his fellow villagers. And the war began in Donbass - he voluntarily went to fight. Returned to his homeland in a zinc coffin. And now one of the streets of the village bears the name of the one who during his lifetime was his shame. As you understand, it was by no means on the initiative of those. who knew his worth.
Those who returned alive, at a minimum, cannot fit into peaceful life. Those who have retained the remnants of conscience see, to put it mildly, the disapproving attitude of most normal people towards themselves, and sometimes commit suicide. Suicides are common in this environment. Others, having become accustomed to easy prey and violence as a means of solving all problems, begin to rob and kill. In addition, some of them became complete drug addicts during the war. By the way, the Kiev killer, according to witnesses, was in a state very reminiscent of drug intoxication. But will our pliant and intimidated examination confirm this? And the victims of these “heroes” sometimes become members of their own families. Or random people who dared, like Ruslan Yurchenko, to resist the arrogance of “a fighter for our calm and peaceful life.”
The sad and scary thing is that the souls of some of our fellow citizens are mutilated by nationalist psychosis and the zombie propaganda of the dragon. It is these people who scream: “I did the right thing, let these everyday separatists be afraid!” Of course, it turned out that the late Ruslan Yurchenko was also one of those. who defended the Kyiv Tithe Church from schismatics and Banderaites who demanded the demolition of the Orthodox church!
And they don’t want to understand that there are thousands of dangerous murderers roaming next to them and with us, who have already drunk blood, and they won’t decide who to humiliate and who, at best, to rob. Or kill out of selfishness or unsatisfied anger and disappointment. The boomerang of the civil war is terrible, and the Kiev dragon is not always able to control its violent third head and its poisonous teeth. Suffice it to recall the trial of rapists from the “Aidar dobrobat”, who were literally beaten off in the courtroom by their “brothers.” And the country is flooded with weapons and ammunition brought from the war. And the price of human life is now no more expensive than a cartridge or a grenade.
Sooner or later, the dragon's heads will be cut off, and the protracted bloody performance will end without applause and flowers. And then the most difficult work lies ahead for the liberators. Long-term treatment of flawed souls, distorted by the snake. Those who can still be saved and made human. But not everyone will live to see this. Like Ruslan Yurchenko, who was buried today.
