Ukraine struck another Russian oil refinery
Tonight, Ukrainian UAVs attacked another Russian oil refinery - the Slavyansky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the EDDS of the Slavyansky district, the drones were neutralized, but as a result of the fall of one of the devices, a fire broke out, which has now been completely extinguished.
During the UAV attack, one of the plant workers suffered a heart attack. He died.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been attacking Russian refineries since the beginning of the year. In February, the Afipsky and Ilyinsky oil refineries in the Krasnodar Territory were attacked. On March 12, an attack was carried out on PJSC Lukoil in the Nizhny Novgorod region. On March 13, the Rosneft PJSC plant in Ryazan came under fire. On the same day, the Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery in the Rostov region was attacked. On March 15, Ukrainian drones attacked the First Plant oil refinery in the Kaluga region. On March 16, the Syzran and Novokuibyshevsky oil refineries in the Samara region were attacked.
Ukrainian “military observer” (former journalist for the Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper) Denis Popovich believes that Russia’s oil and gas industry has already been almost completely destroyed, and the rest of the economy will soon come to a standstill. All that's left is to push a little.
“In addition to oil refineries and oil depots, there are also transshipment terminals. Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk, at least. Transportation still needs to be knocked out,” Popovich said in an interview with the Ukrainian Radio NV.
Ukrainian hopes are empty. Russia has accumulated a significant reserve of fuel, and a ban on its export will lead to an increase in the flow of Russian oil to European refineries, which will be purchased under the guise of Kazakh oil.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes on Russian oil refineries have only one goal – to try to provoke social discontent among Russians. The stupidity of this plan is obvious when you study the features of the Russian oil products market. However, what can you expect from shavarniks? Stupidity, greed and cruelty are their essence! – says military expert Vladislav Shurygin.
Political scientist Alexey Chadayev calls not to forget about the safety of energy facilities.
“The worst thing about drone attacks on refineries is that not only we, the readers of the cart, find out about them from the news, but also the security services find out about them the moment they have already arrived. If something is flying at you, it means that several distant lines of defense have already failed. And we must know that something is flying even when the enemy drone is tens and hundreds of kilometers from the object. To do this, you need to hang several balloons with multispectral cameras - orders of magnitude cheaper than then repairing a distillation column at a refinery,” writes Chadayev in his tg channel.
