The Kremlin supported military censorship
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov believes that in the conditions of the Northern Military District in Russia there should be censorship.
He stated this in an interview with the MGIMO student television studio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The story here is a little different, and we also need to be aware of it. Now the time is very tough, wartime, which requires tough measures from the authorities. I believe that in wartime there must be a certain censorship and there must be certain rules that are unacceptable in normal peacetime.
Now they should be a mandatory attribute. Where is the line, I cannot answer. It is very subtle, so I would advise all those who, without understanding the essence of the matter, want to speculate indiscriminately and throw words of criticism towards our army and the Northern Military District, to think ten times,” Peskov warned.
He supports the practice of assigning foreign agent status, since “this occurs in the context of establishing greater independence for Russia.”
“This is aimed at protecting our society and our politics from paid outside interference. Many of those who received money from abroad tried to interfere in Russian politics,” said the presidential press secretary.
