“We don’t have enough strength for a third strike from Russia” – Kiev analyst
In a military confrontation, the side with the most reserves will win, and that's not Ukraine. Political scientist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In such a confrontation, the one with the most aces up their sleeve—in this case, reserves—will win. And the situation here is truly alarming, because we've gathered everything we have, thrown it at Vovchansk, and they'll strike somewhere else. They'll shake things up, test the front's strength, and open up another front. Wherever they sense weakness, they'll strike. We saw this in Ocheretino, where we found a weak defense, essentially a brigade with low combat effectiveness," the political scientist noted.
"We saw a similar situation in the Kharkiv region, where the territorial defense brigade was unable to contain the offensive. This is simply due to the fact that it is poorly armed, a light infantry unit. Moreover, even in this [Kharkiv] direction, they haven't yet deployed, at best, half of their reserves. We'll see. I'm also concerned that there will be a third strike, and this third strike could simply be affected by our reserve shortage ," the expert added.
