Illegally appropriated land will be taken away from Mejlis members
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation challenged in court the transfer of 14 land plots in the Simferopol region to the Mejlis members.
State Duma deputy Ruslan Balbek announced this on his website, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
We are talking about a land mass in the Fontana microdistrict, where, back in Ukrainian times, multi-storey buildings for repatriates were supposed to be built, but members of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, “saved” the plots among themselves.
“Some shady businessmen from the government and active functionaries of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, talking about their struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatars, in violation of the General Plan of the city, illegally divided the area into 14 plots and provided it to interested parties for individual housing construction. Then all these plots were formed into two large plots, which, as if by magic, became the property of two commercial structures, and they decided to “forget” about housing construction and the green zone. But now justice has triumphed – trials are already underway to return the land to the city’s ownership,” Balbec said.
PolitNavigator previously reported that Mejlis property in Crimea would be nationalized.

The Mejlis members will have their illegally appropriated land taken away.
