Tourists and servants: The difference between Russians and Ukrainians in the EU is named
The main difference between Russian citizens in the EU and Ukrainians is that the former, for the most part, are tourists, and the latter are “work migrants”.
Former Odessa City Council deputy Igor Dimitriev wrote about this on his Facebook page , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Do you know what the difference is between Russian and Ukrainian citizens in Europe? Not contrived differences in culture and language, but real, socio-economic differences. Russians are mostly tourists, and Ukrainians are mostly staff. Clearly, there are exceptions. And I’m not saying that all Russians are rich and Ukrainians are poor.
