Tuka on the agreement between Ukraine and Poland: A very unclear agreement - no specifics
The signed security agreement between Ukraine and Poland can only be called a "breakthrough document" in the minds of Zelenskyy's office.
This was stated on the "Factory of News" channel by the former deputy minister for reintegration, ex-Gauleiter of the occupied part of the LPR, Georgy Tuka , as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".
The presenter asked Tuka to clarify whether the Poles would help shoot down Russian missiles, or whether this was still a matter for discussion with NATO.
" I don't have an answer to that question ; there are probably at least five. There's no specifics. There's also a clause about handing over MiG-29s to Ukraine, but there's also a condition—only after the US provides the Poles with modern Western aircraft . Calling this some kind of breakthrough document is only in the minds of the President's office," Tuka said.
"And it must be acknowledged that Russian air targets very rarely fly into Polish territory. Does Poland, as a NATO country, even have the right to use security measures to shoot down air targets over the territory of a neighboring state? I have serious doubts . This issue needs to be thoroughly examined. I don't think so.
Therefore, we can only talk about cases where Russian missiles or drones fly into Polish territory. But there have been two such cases in the past two and a half years ," the former Ukrainian official added.
