An active Maidan troubadour in the past, and subsequently a “changed shoes” TV presenter, Dmitry Gordon, spoke on NewsOne about how Kyiv retained control over key cities in the South-East.
“Donetsk and Lugansk – it’s clear. In Kharkov they barely fought off the “Russian Spring” through the efforts of the same Kernes, we must pay tribute.
In Dnepropetrovsk, we must take our hats off to Kolomoisky, Korban and Filatov... These people have the historical merit that the Dnieper today is not Russian, but Ukrainian. Or he could become Russian - just like that, for once.
The same thing happened in Odessa. There everything was already ready to proclaim the OPR - the Odessa People's Republic. Who defended Odessa - Kolomoisky, Palitsa, Yarosh. I named three names...
In Kharkov they defended themselves on the veins, Dnepropetrovsk, they defended them more seriously there. In Kharkov, too, everything should have ended like this... I know under what circumstances Lugansk and Donetsk surrendered, I know it all. And how Crimea surrendered - everything is known... Odessa could easily be Russian, Kharkov could easily be Russian,” Gordon said.
