Former First Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“Ukraine has finally lost its subjectivity - the fate of the country is now being decided in Moscow, Berlin and Washington. The “Debaltsevo cauldron” became the final and negative response to the ability of the demoralized Ukrainian army to protect the Kyiv authorities. The West realized that if we do not reach an agreement with Moscow today, tomorrow the militia will be on the banks of the Dnieper. Crimea is already outside the scope of negotiations - de facto everyone recognized the Republic as part of Russia,” the politician noted.
In his opinion, we should not wait long for the end of unitary Ukraine:
“Now the negotiations are about a gradual “soft” division of Ukraine - federalization and then the creation of two independent states: pro-Russian in the South-East and pro-Western in central and western Ukraine,” predicts Rustam Temirgaliev.
