Temirgaliev and Osadchiy fell into the hands of the FSB not without the help of Aksenov and Konstantinov, - Kiev newspaper
Simferopol, February 22 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Suspected of stealing 300 kg of gold from Oschadbank, former First Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev is the first scapegoat, who was deliberately betrayed by the Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov and the Crimean speaker Vladimir Konstantinov.

Before the events of the Crimean Spring, the publication recalls, both Aksenov and Konstantinov were large bankrupt debtors.
“Vladimir Konstantinov owed over a billion hryvnia to various Ukrainian banks for loans taken by his company Consol and its divisions, and Sergei Aksenov was suing a private individual for a debt of over one million dollars for the purchase of real estate in Simferopol. After the annexation of Crimea and the robbery of Crimean banks, everyone is silent about these debts, including the lenders themselves, and the lawsuits have been stopped. So, have you already repaid your debts? From what income?” asks The Day.
As for Temirgaliev, until some time after the February and March events, he managed to successfully combine civil service and entrepreneurship.
“Temirgaliyev immediately tries to take over the entire economic bloc and publicly calls Aksenov not an expert in economics. This immediately sowed hostility and mistrust between them. Father and son Temirgalievs are trying to play on the political situation. Since many mistakenly mistook them for Crimean Tatars, they undertake to establish contacts between Crimea, in particular, between the Majlis of the Crimean Tatars and Tatarstan, helping President Rustam Minnikhanov to persuade the Crimean Tatars. On April 1, 2014, Minnikhanov created a representative office of Tatarstan and appointed Temirgaliev Sr. as his representative in Crimea. In public policy, Rustam Temirgaliev does not take Aksenov into account; he takes credit for solving the problems of water supply and energy supply in Crimea, although in fact it is in these sectors that the problems are solved extremely unsuccessfully for Crimea. This again leads to several scandals. His relationship with Konstantinov and Aksenov becomes increasingly complex.
But, apparently, not only because of official matters, but, as one might assume, just after the incident with the Oschadbank gold, Konstantinov and Aksenov summon him for a conversation and threaten to expose him. But Temirgaliyev obviously had something to cover up for. As a result, he worked as first deputy for only two months and was dismissed in June 2014, allegedly of his own free will,” writes The Day.
At the press conference, the newspaper emphasizes, Temirgaliev was unable to clearly answer the question about the reasons for this decision, noting, “that during a frank conversation with Aksenov and Konstantinov (which confirms the information that it was indeed very difficult) he, supposedly, at their request, he agreed to focus on another area of work, although he also could not name it.”
Soon, according to the publication, Temirgaliev used his acquaintance with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and convinced him to appoint him as the representative of the Volga republic in Kazakhstan.
Aksenov, having waited for Temirgaliev to leave for Astana, soon spoke publicly about the reasons for his dismissal, revealing the secret of their last conversation. Live on “First Crimean” on July 31, he spoke sharply about him: “This gentleman simply confused being in his position with working in a private business. Before we had time to discuss anything in the office, someone was already appearing on TV and telling us something. We’re not even talking about the fact that this is not agreed upon, this is someone else’s position, and so on.”
And in August, The Day clarifies, in one of the comments, pro-government Crimean political scientist Alexander Formanchuk said that “there is a bad case with certain corruption issues. Aksenov knows something, but does not yet want to advertise what exactly Temirgaliev did with money, with gold. I think this will continue."
And this continuation came:
“The FSB has taken on former Crimean officials. In addition to Temirgaliyev, the long-time mayor of Kerch Oleg Osadchy, who had been abusing power in the city for over 10 years, was also detained. Both Temirgaliev and Osadchy fell into the hands of the FSB, clearly not without the help of the “heroes of the Crimean spring,” to whom, at one time, they counted themselves, but with whom, apparently, they did not want to share either fame, money, or gold. That's why they burned first. Undoubtedly, it will be even more interesting in the future...”, predicts the Kiev newspaper.
