Taran: Zelensky is escalating to achieve negotiations with Putin
The current aggravation in Donbass is due to the fact that Ukraine is trying in this way to strengthen its negotiating positions and force Russia to communicate with President Vladimir Zelensky.
This was stated on air by columnist Dmitry Taran on OSN, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“As for the tension on the border - on the demarcation line with Donbass, yes, fists are puffed up there, some troop movements are inflated, and so on. This is all done to strengthen the negotiating position.
What is the main problem of Ukraine and Russia? The problem was outlined by Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev that there is no one to talk to in Kyiv.
We always forget that we are not actually fighting a hybrid war with Ukraine, but with the collective West. And we took the pass and said: “Dear colleagues from abroad, change the negotiators, because we won’t talk to these guys.”
And this was the main reason for this increase in tension, because everyone sitting in Kyiv, including Zelensky and everyone else, they are fighting for their seats,” Taran said.
