Almost every second beginning specialist in Ukraine wants to receive a salary of at least 10 thousand hryvnia.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the job search website hh.ua, as reported by the publication Obozrevatel.
A little more than a third of beginning specialists would like to receive from 5 to 10 thousand hryvnia. But only one out of eight would agree to a salary of 3-5 thousand UAH, and only one out of a hundred is ready to receive less than 3 thousand UAH.
At the same time, employers are increasingly talking about the inflated demands of young specialists, so the salaries they offer for this category of applicants do not exceed 4-5 thousand hryvnia.
In this regard, many Ukrainians who have just started their careers objectively assess their knowledge, skills and experience and reduce their salary expectations. Thus, only one out of five respondents believes that he can claim a salary of over 10 thousand UAH, two out of five estimate themselves as a professional at 5-10 thousand UAH per month, and a third are even more modest in their wishes and believe that has the right to claim an amount of 3-5 thousand hryvnia. Only 3% of respondents would agree to a salary below 6 thousand UAH.
